Honors vs Regular at CCC

hey guys for those of you who have taken honors courses at your CCC can you tell me which classes you took honors and how they differ than the regular classes? are classes harder? ect. that kinda stuff... thanks

I am taking three honors classes this upcoming Fall semester and have seen the syllabus for all of them. i.e., the English 102 Honors course at my CCC requires you to do a term paper (short, 5-page paper). Same for History 11. Just a little extra work, as expected from someone who is technically expected more from.

Remember, honors classes are always good. At my CCC, if I complete 6 honors classes (which I will by Spring) with a GPA of 3.1 or above, I become a certified Honors student, thereby raising my chances of transferring to UCLA through TAP. I don't know if your CCC has the same type of agreement w/ other universities, but Honors classes are always a big plus when admissions are looking at your application/transcripts.
