<p>Departmental Honors acceptance (Computer Science) and Dean’s Scholarship came in the mail yesterday. :o Wasn’t anticipating either (especially the latter), so I sort of freaked out. Super excited.</p>

<p>^ I got the letter last week on Thursday but also got an email. So theres a chance you’ll still get one!</p>

Most departments at Stony Brook have their own Honors program. I got into the one for Computer Science.
Dean’s Scholarship is just another small merit based award I got for the College of Science and Engineering.</p>
<p>And this year I’m taking Physics B, Physics C: Mechanics, Calculus BC, Statistics and English Literature.</p>
<p>Are the dorms for the honors college kids any nicer than for the rest of the student body? Also, are they by any chance singles? For the bedrooms, that is</p>
