<p>Does being in honors improve your grad school applications? Honors in college seem so different from high school (AP vs regular classes.) What is honors in college? I heard it's just smaller classes, besides that it's the same.</p>
<p>At my school the Honors program was a whole set of extra classes to take over four years, and a thesis to write before graduation.</p>
<p>There were also departmental honors programs which were less intensive, usually research and a thesis your senior year.</p>
