How many people here are applying to the Burnett Honors College (or already accepted)?

...And Merry Christmas!/Happy Hanukkah!/Joyous Kwanaza! to all

I'm a Freshman honors student, and I must say I find it worthwhile. Smaller classes, and some other good perks, like free computer lab that non-honors can't use....

Symposium isn't that bad of a class either, and it's just one semester. Basically you write papers about once a week or every other, and listen to speeches every week. Also, you have to volunteer with Junior Achievement, it's somethingl ike 6 or 7 actual lab dates/class dates you meet for that. You'll love it, I can garuntee you that!

My d has been accepted. Waiting to hear from U of Miami before she makes a decision.

Is there any specific GPA or SAT/ACT score requirements for the honors college? And if there isn't, does anyone know the typical stats of those accepted?

Don't know the "reqs," but my S had a 3.8, 1410 SAT, 32 ACT ... and a boatload of AP's, and he was asked to join Burnett after he was accepted. He's done well and enjoyed the "perks" this year.

zebes

My d was accepted to Burnett and definitely plans to attend. She had 30 ACT and 3.9 (UW) GPA. 4 of her classmates were also accepted, one is attending, the other 3 are waiting to hear from other schools before making final decision.
