Hookups vs Dating

In other words, College is a great time to hook up and maybe have a one night stand because morals are for suckers and since you are young you can do whatever you want without any long term consequences.

Until you come to a point in life in which you realize that what you do now will have long term consequences.

Go ahead, don’t listen to me.

If your morals include “hooking up will forever ruin your life” then yes, your morals are for suckers.

Have fun and don’t worry 'bout that ring around yo finger.

I go to MSU right now and I’d say there is a good mix of both dating and hookups. It really depends on what friend group you are in, but most of my friends have steady boyfriends/girlfriends. During your freshman year there are more often hookups than dating but after things settle down people tend to find themselves more in relationships. I am more of an independent spirit/have always been single, but I don’t do the random one-night stand either.

Generally, people in college wishing to pursue LTR’s are the more mature ones, while the people pursuing hook-ups are less mature. With that being said, it’s pretty obvious most college students are not mature, and therefore most college students will be looking for hook-ups.

Off the topic, What is LTR?

Long-term relationship.

Oh, now I feel dumb.

i didnt know either

Woooo! I wasn’t alone.
