emphasis on the dream in american dream. this is beyond surreal. but even though i can't quite believe it i am still WAY TOO EXCITED. the glossiness of the admitted students website also really is not helping me out here.

Cogito, I am probably going to YMUN this Jan. Maybe I'll see you there!

I am guilty of playing the Welcome song over and over and over again. The song is catchy.... and amazing!!

CONGRATS EVERYONE AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU ALL AT BULLDOGS DAY AND THEN IN CLASSES HOPEFULLY NEXT YEAR!!

Edit: Also, I second the 'American Dream' comment. I think that this is just one of those things that is quickly making me realize how great this country is.

hey guys, congratulations to all of you, i'm really excited. haha yeah i'm guilty of replaying the welcome over and over again too. i've even got my aid offer and i'm really happy!!
cheers

My dad was accepted to Northwestern University back in the 1970s but couldn't afford it as an international student. I think he still feels guilty sometimes that he wasn't able to provide me the same kind of life, even though everything has worked out fine for him. But for my parents especially, this is the American Dream. I don't see it quite the same way, but it's still nice to not have to stress over college anymore!

<== still totally cheeeeeeeeeesin

This was pretty much the best Xmas present ever - ten days early.

awesomeness and all, but I still gotta do Pton - better for my areas of study. But i like Yale more. I feel really bad though because my gf didnt get in, but w/e feeling bad =/= sad, and im the opposite of sad right now

Nick - is this how you really feel, or are you "acting" now? lol

? im being serious. As in Im really happy, but I dont know that im going to choose Yale and everyone I know from my school got deferred/rejected, so its a bad time, but i'm not sad.

(oh in regards to my post). That was for teachers and college-involved people.

This is simply amazing! Isn't it nice to already know and have a weight lifted off your shoulders?

totally...

Same boat, Nick017.

I hope I don't get rescinded.

Hey, guys! I haven't posted much on the Yale board, but I can't wait for Bulldog Days/Actually (probably) getting to Yale! Is it me, or is life really 10x nicer as a prospective Yale student? Suddenly it seems there is more sunshine, birdsong, rainbows etc. :)

There's also much more procrastination and a greater lack of motivation.

Sometimes I wish the rules were that as soon as you were accepted into your top choice college, you could just stop going to school. That would be heavenly.

What are the dates for bulldog days?

Oh, I forgot to mention -
Yale has the best college color, in my opinion. It's not dull navy, and it's not silly like electri blue or something like that. I was never a big fan of red or yellow.
