Hi, I have a few questions about HOPE Scholarship for Georgia, since the information is somewhat vague to me. First of all it says that, "HOPE Scholarship recipients must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA at the end of each spring semester to continue eligibility. In addition to these requirements traditional and nontraditional students must have a 3.0 cumulative HOPE GPA after the 30th, 60th and 90th attempted hour.". Currently I have a 3.21 GPA with 14 credit hours and 3 transfer credits from AP. This semester I was taking 15 credit horus, and just withdrew from one so my GPA isn't damaged and it went down to 12 credit hours. Since it says I need a 3.0 after ATTEMPTED hours, will my withdrawal class factor in to those hours to make it 32 instead of 29? Also, since I'm withdrawing and I get the grade of W, will that damage my HOPE GPA at all?

Too long didn't read version:
1. If I withdraw from a class, does it still count toward the 30 attempted credit hours needed for HOPE, since without it, I'd only have 29 credits?
2. How does a W affect my GPA, if it all?

Sorry for making this so long, I'm just really curious.
