THANK YOU and I hope you can give me some insight on whether or not you think I will go to Stanford or not/ If i would be a good fit.

Stanford is a Reach for each applicant that applies so chancing is impossible. Your grades so far are competitive. You EC’s are all over the place and I see some focus but you need to cut down on the list and work on 1 or 2 areas that you are “very passionate” about. Prep for the SAT/ACT, apply next year and hope for the best.

Work on condensing your list:

You don’t need to list things twice because it looks like you are trying to “pad” your resume and EC’s.
Learn some grammatical no-nos:

APART means to be separate. If you can’t express yourself without errors, it will seriously affect your essays and admission.

error on my part, I meant to say “a part” or “involved in” @“aunt bea”

I am somewhat confused!
With “…few high B’s in spanish and math”, how could your uwgpa remained at 4 and weighted above 5? Is the GPA scaling in your school unconventional?

@uclaparent9 no…

in the other thread, @mmmkkk2 said that the college courses he/she takes count as one extra grade point

Tbh I don’t think your grades would look that impressive. Colleges will probably recalculate and that 4.0 won’t be there anymore. And that 5.0 is pretty much meaningless

@a20171 alright, and what do you really know???

You can challenge us (useless for you), but not the adcoms!

adcoms??? What do you mean… @uclaparent9

Adcoms = admissions officials.

0 AP Courses at a school that offers them

0% chance at Stanford

I do college courses though… I am taking Comp. 1 and US history through my school how is that not BETTER than taking an AP course!!! Instead of college prep, it is a college course! and its at my state school not a community college! @ClarinetDad16

because colleges recalculate gpa to compare everyones and the 1 pt your school adds will be taken out and it won’t be a 4.0 anymore and you have no aps so your weighted won’t be a 5.0
