Hopeless?

I've always wanted to go to an ivy league or any of the top UC's, but I haven't been doing too well the most important year of high school. I've gotten UW 4.0's freshmen and sophomore years taking the most challenging classes offered at my school. I've been doing good the first quarter of junior year with 3 AP's and an honors until I've picked up some bad habits :( I ended up getting an UW 3.3 (W 4.0) first semester and might also end up getting an UW 3.0 or luckily a bit higher this semester. I've taken the SAT for the first time yesterday and don't think I did too well (under 2000 for sure). However, I am going to study this summer and am aiming for a 2100 on the October or November SAT and high 700's on my SAT II's. I barely have any extracurriculars except 2 years of XC/track and a few clubs. I don't even know how many hours of community service I have and don't have anything unique to put on my transcript.

I'd be more than happy to attend any of the top UC's since my whole extended family expects me to AT LEAST make it into UCLA. Do I have a chance at any of these schools (UCLA, UCB, UCSD)? What can I do starting from now in order to increase my chances? I know it's a bit too late since I only have 1 more week of my junior year left.

it’s not hopeless, your UC GPA can still be in the 3.8s or 3.9s or higher. try calculate it, and see where that goes. and I dont think ur SAT score is going to kill you, unless its something like 1600s.

is freshmen year not counted in the total cumulative gpa?
