I'm about to start my junior year, and I have not had good grades for the past two years, but I have potential. I have ADD, and when I take my medicine I can study and blah blah blah. Anyway, I've heard colleges like upward trends, and if I wanted to get into UNKC's six year med program, what are some recommendations or tips to what I should do, take, sign up for...anything!! I have three cousins that are already in UMKC, and they've told me some things...but honestly I am so scared because I've been a total idiot for the last two years in highschool, not studying and partying and whatnot. UMKC is my dream, so please, any advice would help.

You need to make an appointment with the admissions office at UM-KC, and talk with the people there about your record. They will be able to tell you if you have a chance of getting into the 6-year program, and they will be ale to advise you on your alternatives.

You also should sit down with your high school guidance counselor. He/she can tell you which colleges and universities students with your profile have been admitted to in recent years.
