<p>what do you think my chances getting into UW Madison</p>

<p>3.2-3.3 UW GPA
26 ACT
Minnesota Resident</p>

<p>1 AP CLASS (AP Psych, I assume I will get a 4 on the test)
4 Classes taken PSEO at a university</p>

<p>Extra Curriculars
-4 years Lacrosse
-Youth Service Club (Lettered in it)
-150 Volunteer hours with Youth Lacrosse team
-Students Against Drunk Driving (SADD)
-Have a part time job</p>

<p>Will get rec's from teachers that understand I have alot of potential (Math is what is really pulling me down)</p>

<p>I Plan to write an essay on how I had a life changing expierience that helped me to find myself and turn myself around for my junior/senior year</p>

<p>Do you think I have a shot? :/</p>

<p>The GPA is low (Wisconsin's average is around 3.55 UW), as is the SAT just slightly low (26 is at the low end of Wisconsin's range). But since you took 4 college courses already plus the one AP, this will help your cause.</p>

<p>I'd rate you as a slight reach, meaning that taking the ACT once more--or taking the SAT and improving, plus writing a good essay and having good recommendations could get you in, but it's slightly unlikely.</p>

<p>Prove me wrong, though--and make the extra effort, since this is a real close call--and I'd like to see you get the acceptance.</p>
