I am really interested in to transferring to Georgetown University for the fall of 2013, I am currently at UMUC attending evening classes and will have wrapped up my junior year by this spring, I have maintained a 4.0 so far... I am a member of the accounting club, the NSCS and have an impressive resume. I have started a few of my own LLCs, a large amount of investment experience, and a lot of volunteering in local fire departments. I know transferring into Georgetown is difficult I was just wondering what other peoples experiences have been.

Why do you want to transfer after you junior year? Most colleges require you to take at least two years worth of courses with them to qualify for the transfer process. Do you intend to retake junior year?

I plan on sitting for the CPA exam so I will need 150 credits anyways, and only some of my classes will transfer into Georgetown or any other top school, I think around 65 of my 80 or so credits will transfer into any school that has AACSB accreditation, so I will have to retake a few classes so in a way yes I will be retaking part of junior year.
