Hey guys,
So right now I'm a freshman at the University of South Carolina. Long story short, it isn't anything I thought it would be and it's really expensive since I am from North Carolina, so I'm hoping to transfer to NC State. I'm undeclared now, but I'm hoping to go into biomedical engineering. I have all A's (no official GPA yet, though...), and here are some stats:

High School:
GPA: 3.8 unweighted
SAT: 630 (Reading) 650 (Math) 670 (Writing), 1950 combined
APs: Language, US History, Literature, and Psychology (all 4s)
Lots of extracurriculars and volunteering

College:
All A's, I'm in Sociology 101, Calculus 122, University 101, Spanish 210, and History 102. Next semester I'm hoping to take Biology 101 & lab, Chemistry 111, Calculus I (Math 141), and maybe Physics 211 & lab, and something else. I'm involved in many different activities here.

I know for engineering I need Calculus II and also to get English credit, I would have to submit a portfolio to get credit. I am also planning on taking summer classes to catch up. Do I have a chance to get in for Sophomore year? Do you have any suggestions to make me a strong applicant? This is all really stressful and I've been going through site after site seeing what I need to do, but everything seems to say something different! Any and all help would be wonderful and much appreciated, thank you(:
