I am a freshman at a large state school hoping to transfer to Pomona College. I have 2 siblings at the Claremont Colleges and didn’t realize how badly I wanted to be there until I started my freshman year. I will have around a 3.8 or potentially a 3.9 (depending on curves) in my current university’s honor’s program.
My high school stats aren’t that special, 4.0 W and 3.8 UW with 4 AP’s and 5’s in all of them. My EC’s were pretty good.My SAT was a 1950. I already interviewed there and it went pretty well. I’m also applying to Pitzer (waitlisted last year) and CMC (rejected last year). Do I have a good shot at any of these schools? Thanks for your time!
Hi. I am also applying, but as a rising junior at a Cali. Community College. I visited the school last year and really had fallen in love. I was rejected by CMC last year.:((
I did the on-campus interview for Pomona in feb. hope that helps a bit for my application. Since I wrote not a so good essay, I fully expect a rejection.

GPA: 4.0 in both HS and CCC
EC: math tutor for EOPS and STEM; mandarin-immesion program volunteer; 2014/2015 AIDS walk committee volunteer; Peer Mentor at International
