Hey guys, I have already applied to colleges. I just want to know what are my chances at Penn, Johns Hopkins, Case Western, Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, and Wash U. in St. Louis??

My Sat Scores are 670, 670, 710 (Reading, Math, Writing)

ACT scores are 35(math), 32(english), 30(reading), 27(science). The composite score is 31.

Please let me know my chances.

I would love to chance you, but you are going to need WAY more info than that. You need your GPA, ECs, Awards, Community Services, and all that. Show me what ya got, and then I'll chance you.

PS Is that Penn State or UPenn?

My unweighted GPA for 7 semesters is 3.95 (2 Bs in english, 1st semesters of freshman and sophomore years). Ranked 10th among 442 seniors. Taking all AP classes this year.

Volunteered during last three summers at a hospital. A total of 213 hours. Treasurer for NHS this year, and member since last two years. Also, member of Interact Club since freshman year. Also, received three Student of the Month Awards in separate subjects.

It's UPenn

Hmmm... your ECs are not that strong and neither is your SAT to put it bluntly, but your GPA is not bad at all (7 semesters? Are you a junior?) so I would say UCLA and UCSD are matches (if your a Cali resident, than definitely in) but the rest might be a little too high. Just my opinion though, don't be discouraged. I was already wrong about someone on these threads (I said this guy would be rejected from UPenn, but he got in) so don't trust me too much. Good luck. :)

Good GPA, slightly weak SAT, good ACT, somewhat weak ECs, good volunteering, and rather bland honors/awards. I'm going to say:

Berkeley: reach
UCLA: slight reach
UCSD: safe match - safety (ELC)
Penn: reach
JHU: reach
WUStL: reach
