Has anyone received confirmation that their application has been received? I sent mine in late December and still no word, nor have they cashed my check. I tried calling last week and the admissions rep told me they have yet to even start processing transfer apps, which is understandable considering the rise in freshman apps. I'm a little paranoid as the deadline (March 15) is right around the corner and I want make sure it's there.

We will not begin processing transfer application materials until after the March 15 deadline. Just as with freshman applications, you will receive a blue postcard when your application is processed. In late April, once we have processed all received application materials for transfer students, we will contact students whose applications remain incomplete. Those students will be given an opportunity to provide us with any missing items before we complete the evaluation of their applications. Rest assured that application files are checked carefully for completeness.

The Operations Team is focused on the freshman application process until the end of March and therefore does not begin processing transfer materials right away.

Thank you for the prompt response. The only reason I am concerned is that while materials aren't processed until after March 15th, there is a chance that my app may have been lost or something to that extent and I wouldn't be able to re-submit it after the deadline because Hopkins has no acknowledgment or reference of me sending it in the first place. All in all I'm sure everything is fine and it's just a case of the app process driving me insane. :)
