So i took the subject tests this Saturday and am certain that I did not do well for Chemistry. I signed up for 3 tests, which were originally: Math 1, Math 2, and US History. I was going to simply take the two math tests because I have long forgotten a lot about History, but chose to take Chemistry when I finished the first two because I didn’t feel like wasting the money paid for the third test, and because I took regular Chemistry last year and am currently taking AP Chemistry. Unfortunately, the Chem test caught me off guard with the number, format, and specificity of its questions. I spent way too long on the earlier questions because I did not know the ones at the end were so much simpler (for me). I answered 50 questions (made a best guess for about half of them) and left 35 or so blank…I’m expecting 400s to 500s. I am planning to apply to schools that require 2 SAT subject tests and require ALL scores to be sent…Considering that I’ll have 710 Math 1, 790 Math 2, 640 US History, and 530 Chemistry, how badly will the Chem test hurt me (95 in AP chem class)? Will they even care about it because I already took another non-math subject (USH)? I am planning to major in Business and will not be able to retake any tests in time (current senior).
