I told myself I wouldn't go back and look at my essays after I submitted them but I did, and found something I would have rather left uncovered. One of the sentences in my essay was supposed to read like this:

For me, music is banging on used food cans as a toddler, and using my hands to perform an air guitar solo in my room as a teen.

but instead it reads:

For me, music is banging on used food cans as a toddler,I and doing air guitar solo to with my hands in my room as a teen.

This is definitely a glaring typo and it's stressing me out. It's not something an admissions officer can just glance over and miss, because it messes up the entire sentence. Should I leave it as and try to forget about it (emphasis on try), or contact the college to fix it. I found some other minor typos, but this, however, is the most glaring.

my touchpad on my new laptop is overly sensitive and the keys too far apart for my fingers. sometimes, it scrolls up and inserts a word or phrase in a previous part of a sentence and then the sentence is skewed. This happens to many. When I looked at your sentence, it appeared to be something like that. I am sure they will be able to tell from the main body of your essay that you have proper grammar, so it would appear to be a typo, versus, you not being able to write a clear sentence. They may not even notice it, after reading so many essays. I would leave it alone.

I’m not really sure how the sentence got messed up, but I guess there is nothing I can do now. I just sort of had a post-application panic after re-reading and finding some errors. I have a pretty good understanding of grammar (790W), but this isn’t shown by some of the minor typos in my essays and on my app in general. I guess the best I can hope for now is that they gloss over some of the minor typos, and focus on the content of my essays. Thanks for the feedback.
