Horrible math curve for november

1 wrong was a 770? thats just horrible. I am still wondering about CR and writing.

I thought that was typical?

October was -1 = 800. January was same. May was - 1 = 780. This is not very typical.

how do you already know that?

Well i deduced it really. Most people in that score thread had a 770 or an 800. Not really any inbetweens. So I figure -1 = 770. I may be wrong. I missed 2 in october and got a 770. Same deal may have happened to many here :(.

yeah i missed 2 and got 770 in april.
wow missing one could be a 770...thats really harsh
post here if you got a 780 or 790 in math!

i got a 780

ok so 770 must be -2 again

There were probably different versions. No WAY did I miss more than one math problem! :p (not trying to be conceited, I'm just going by what I got on practice tests)

haha kristina, that does sound pretty conceited.

haha, sorry.

770 for one wrong isn't typical, but I think it's happened before. I think this was the math curve for the October 2005 test.

kristina-haha dont worry id probably be thinking the same thing.
i mean..the math section of the SAT I is basically just a "lets see who can make the fewest stupid mistakes" test among the top scorers. i was lucky and didnt make any this time.

770 and i left one blank and probably got one wrong

I got a 790 in math

i left one blank and got a 770

guess i should've worked faster. darn...

OK, there's something weird. One person got a 780, and one person got a 790. That proves that there were different curves for different versions. Doesn't it?

I believe there were two versions of the November 2006 exam. Hence, having different curves would not be unexpected at all. A raw score of 53 giving a 770 in Math IS a terrible curve. The Math section on that exam must have been extremely easy!

i've got two wrongs-- 740 :(

prolly the worst curve ever.

Sure you only got two wrong?
