Being a reckless freshman, I decided to take the SAT II World History test last year, thinking that I could handle it as I got very good grades in AP World History (5).

How stupid of me.

Of course, I completely failed it and got a 690 so this year, after taking BOTH APUSH and APEuro in school, I plan on retaking it so it will be AT LEAST above a 730, preferably much higher. That horrible score is bothering me so much and I have to do something, though I'm not sure of what.

What should I do to accomplish this? I bought the Barron's review book and intend to review that. Will it be enough? I'm thinking about reviewing past class notes and going through the entire Barron's book CAREFULLY in the month after the AP tests and before the subject test date. Anyone have more advice? Anything will be greatly appreciated.

I didn't study for mine and I got the same score as az1698. The reason: I couldn't remember CRAP about Asian/Indian/Central Asian history. Look that over. But in general, it's not too bad! =]

DONT WORRY ABOUT IT! scoring 40 pts higher will not put u over the edge. heck, getting a perfect score wont mean anything. by taking AP Euro and AP USH, this already shows "oooh ur good at memorizing dates, events" w/e
Not to be mean, but i despise these kinds of threads that ask for advice about retaking "horrible" SAT II scores, when they r like 100 pts above average
