Did anything terrible ever happen at boarding school?

Noises in the night? Screaming from nowhere? Unseen intruders? Attempted suicides? Attacks? Theft? Racism? Isolation etc.?

If you have a story to share, please DO!

lol. nothing horrible but at my school there was a lockdown because a highway chase ended in a crash in front of our school, and the guys got away. It wasn't as horrid as made out to be. We had no tests the next day, and we just goofed off and watched movies in the theater

Yea...hostel life is quite cool..except few stories which are presumed to be ghostly and are prepared esp. to scare the new students. Except few pre-established Bullies...NO HORRORS at all!!

My mom had a freakin fit when she learned that Exeter is ten miles away from a nuclear plant...

hahah nope not nearly as exciting as a lotta people woudl think. all it is is your sleeping patterns changing drastically, hanging out with people a lot more, more procrastion, more movies, less work, less sleep, less food, and the "freshman 15" several years earlier.

You'll be receiving far less radiation exposure than you would from a coal plant the same distance away. Then again, the emergency planning radius is 10 miles. . . outside of that, I assume, residents don't receive stock iodine pills. In the unlikely event of a meltdown, you may be slightly more screwed than your friends across the border.

lol, well not as cracked up as it's made to be then!

What did they do to you guys when you first came?

Hey where do you get all the movies for the school theatre? Does the school buy the movies, some independent company runs it OR the students just bring in DVDs? Always wondered about that...

Exter is near a nuclear plant?! Creepy..
