Suggestion for those of you who are still having trouble logging into the FSU housing portal And this suggestion may or not work—

Log in on your smartphone. It worked for me this morning and my number is under 190. Good Luck!

Try signing in on this page as a current student, not a incoming student:

I did this in frustration and I got through, and it recognized my son as a newly accepted student, eligible to register for housing. Perhaps this will get you through more quickly. He got Priority number 280.

I finished my housing app on my iphone but I don’t know how to print it now any help?

Note from the FSU Housing Facebook Page “Due to issues with Florida State University systems, the Housing application has been taken down. We will provide updated information here on Thursday, December 15 at 8:00 AM.”

Captainbazooka, you don’t have to print it now, just wait until all this site crashing stuff is resolved. If you are under 18, then you need to send it in within 10 days.

Ok thank you so much and good luck to all of you!

I thought the lower priority number was taken of the 2 students? I’m hoping it’s not true because I don’t want to get stuck with a roommate with a bad number while I stayed up to get 35

To those stressing over housing priority numbers-

Last year we completed the application on the morning of notification day, not the evening prior. Although the systems were also a bit clunky then (not like the reports this year) we received a number in the very low 1200’s and my son got housing in his first choice of Wildwood. So, take a deep breath and keep at it.

as21608, if you choose to room with a friend who has a number higher than your 35, then they will place you with that higher number. You can wait to see what number your friend gets, and then decide if you want to take a chance of not getting your first choice with a worse number. With your number you will get any hall you choose, but depending on which hall that is, your friend’s number may be low enough too:) If your friend doesn’t have a number yet, you will have to wait for tomorrow anyway, since the housing signup won’t be available until then:( But you can make all those changes for months so don’t stress about it now!

Wait I read it wrong haha and I meant higher. This is what happens when you get 2 hours of sleep because you were applying for housing at FSU

Daughter was accepted for the summer but the housing section of the site is now down. The email states that we will be notified once the site is back up. Did anyone else get this?

@scrapgal, it’s like that for everyone who hasn’t applied for housing yet, unfortunately!
