hosting a visit

hey y'all, i need your help urgently!

i'm hosting a friend from high school (just for the day) tomorrow and i have no idea what to do with her! i'm taking her to my classes and we'll sit down and talk and eat in one of the dorm cafeterias, but i feel like there'll be major downtime. if it gets a little awkward, what should i do that would add to her experience of visiting?

thanks!! (:

Make out with her

or go see harry potter 7

or go to the highlighter party

or walk by the river in the arb

I don’t really know what girls like to do, but I tried. That’s what I’d do, anyways. I’m sure other people will be more helpful.

:)

Metal frat
Law quad (Harry potter)
Basement arts show
Shopping at urban outfitters (not umich, but it fills time)

Hooking up

yeahhh. i’m a girl so unfortunately i don’t see myself hooking up with her. also, she’s not spending the night so i’m not taking her to sigma phi or another fraternity party ahahahha.

so i guess out of the legitimate responses, yeah the law quad or the arb (depending on the temperature) are definitely viable. thanks

Back in the days when we did college visits, my daughters and I always found just finding a spot, like the union or a cafe where you can just hang-out gives you a good vibe of the campus. Maybe just take her over to the union for a bit, then over to Expresso Royale, then one of the other places you like to go. When you go to the union, you can pick-up a bunch of the different newspapers there.

How about the art museum?
