<p>Also, to the OP and whoever's concerned about the hotness factor: a lot of people I know in the UCs (mostly Asians though) date students from other UCs because, for instance, the Taiwanese-American network in these schools is pretty tightly knit. You can always date outside of Cal if there aren't enough "hot" guys for you there.</p>

To be honest, nerdy schools like this aren't the best places for good-looking people I think. Still, I don't mind going there. The few hot guys will be hot AND smart ;)</p>

<p>I'll be in Architecture, considering I don't want to do Art or anything (I wanted to go to RISD for Industrial Design but they have that huge portfolio requirement). Perhaps the people will be moderately better than in Engineering LOL. No offense to anyone who'll be doing a major there :)</p>
<p>To be honest, it makes no difference to me what the people look like at Cal. It's just a fun thing to know. I think people who are smart in general are sliiiightly less good looking since they emphasis on things more important than their appearance.</p>
