as far as girls go, uc berkeley ain’t the best place to be. i visited last yr and was terribly disappointed, since i thought that it is in Cali and girls would be so attractive. UCLA and USC, on the other hand, was a completely different story. I wonder how UCLA ends up w/ so many good women, since it is a heck of a good school, too, just like Cal.

although i can’t speak for men, since i am a guy, but i tend to believe that the schools that have good women also tend to have attractive men as well. so, to OP, maybe you’re looking at a wrong school if this is a big issue for ya.

This was such a fun thread. It’s also misleading in that a lot of ppl might assume the incoming class of 2012’s guys are cocky or something lol.

i’m not shallow and the student body (attractiveness) is a factor somewhere in my decision. college is about academics balanced with social life. it’s the time to laugh about random hookups, as well as many people’s 1st REAL relationships. if you dont like the looks of the people, then you probably wouldnt want to go there.

Honestly, it doesn’t matter where you go. If you’re “hot” yourself then you shouldn’t have any problem hooking up with a fellow “hot” person of the opposite gender.

On the other hand, if you’re less attractive and don’t have the personality to make up for that, then it won’t matter where you go. Sure, you can go to USC or wherever and see that huge crowd of attractive people but you better have HIGH hopes that you’ll actually be able to hook up with one of them.
