<p>I feel absolutely ridiculous asking this, but I'm really curious: </p>

<p>How would you rate the attractiveness of NYU students? I'm more concerned about the males, but to make the post more applicable to everyone comments about the girls are cool too.</p>

<p>uhhh last time i went for 3 nights, which was 2 weeks ago the girls seem pretty diverse. There were hot girls, ugly girls, fat girls, thin girls, and lots of asian girls. Most of them seem pretty materialistic though and pretentioustic.</p>

<p>wing2871x: There are fraternities and sororities here, but they don't dominate academic or residential life. Compared to other schools, they make up a much smaller portion of the university body.</p>

<p>I was just walking during one of these past days around NYU and it seems pretty diverse. Most of the girls there seemed prosperous, wealthy and beautiful. If you're a stud it shouldn't be a problem finding girls. The ratio is 6 to 4 with girls to men.</p>

<p>I'd say guys here are about average in terms of looks. I've met some really cute guys though, so they do exist. NYU seems to have proportionally fewer guys of the fratty, A&F type look though.</p>

<p>NYU guys are attractive in a very hipster type way which is something I'm into. Yea, I agree, there aren't many A&F/Surfing/Beachy/Frat types here. And if you mean "attractive" in a very emasculating sense...then yes, i find a lot of the gay people really attractive. Too bad all the attractive boys are taken though (or most anyway).</p>

<p>Everybody defines attractiveness in a different way, but with over 20,000 undergrads attending, I'm sure it won't be a problem finding a good amount of people which you would deem, "attractive."</p>

<p>you'll be fine. majority of the girls who's got the heart to go to a college in the middle of NYC will care takes care of themselves.</p>
