Chance me for:

NYU Stern!!
Northwestern
Cornell
U MIch
Wash U
Carnagie Melon

Have any idea as to a possible major?

I will apply to the engineering schools at all the universities except at NYU I will apply to the business school.

Oh, and I am white and not a first generation college student or any of that stuff.

RC, I think you have very good chances at UM and also at CMU. Your strong SAT 2 math/science scores should help you out with that school. Don’t know about the rest. Best of luck!

Thank you, I appreciate your input

… Bump

IMO, you’re in easy at Mich

Stern is a match (I have a friend who got into Stern with significantly less credentials)

NW/Carnegie/Cornell/Wash- maybe a bit of reach on all because of the good (but not great) SATs, but I think your EC’s/GPA/Courseload will give you the boost you need to get in. Personally I say you get into atleast 1 or 2 of those, and I frankly wouldn’t be surprised if you got into 3 or all.

Thanks sagecoll, are you sure about Mich? I am out of state and I thought it would be a reach. Does Michigan pay much attention to out of state vs. in state?

considering that I live in NY, and out of our 275 graduating class, 15 have already gotten in, I don’t think it’s much of an issue.

You’re at the average- above average for your SATs for Mich, but everything else, in my mind, makes up for that. Especially the GPA, considering the courseload

Ok, Thanks
