<p>I've noticed that Hotchkiss, while allowing for a conventional short answer and essay, also allows students to create a YouTube video in lieu of the essay. Did anyone take advantage of this opportunity. And if so, how did you do it?</p>
<p>I was thinking about making a youtube video but then I thought it had to be really good to make it up to a mediocre essay so I sticked with the traditional writing option.</p>
<p>I did a visual representation of academic topics I was passionate about. It was more of a collage, but it turned out well and got the point across. I thought it would make me stand out a bit in the admissions process, but I’m not sure if it was a great idea. The points that may be clear to me in my art might be totally missed by the admissions officers.</p>
