So nyprepster, where did you decide to attend?

@ h-o-p-e-f-u-l: I love that approach! The visualization method. Picture yourself a year from now. Imagine that you're walking to class; sitting in class; eating lunch; playing a sport; playing an instrument; studying in a room; hanging out in a common area with friends. Now ask yourself, what school were you thinking of?

Lol...............................

It totally depends on what your plans/goals are. If you want name recognition, go with Hotchkiss. If you will possibly be a recruited athlete in skiing, go with Hotchkiss (if you are competitive enough to make varsity). Middlesex (I think) has a truly outstanding academic program (IMO better than Hotchkiss'). Middlesex is a smaller school as well, which may be a better fit for you depending on your preference. In terms of prestige/connections/chances at a top college they are roughly equal with the edge going to Hotchkiss. Hotchkiss has a lot of NYC students whereas Middlesex has more of a New England feel. Tough choice. I like Hotchkiss a lot personally so that would be my choice. I think it is a less stressful environment but probably less supportive as well (as strange as that sounds).
