Do you know how many 10th grade applicants are accepted into Hotchkiss?
Or how common it is for 10 graders to get accepted?</p>
<p>Hi! I don't know actual numbers or statistics, but TONS of students come in to Hotchkiss as 10th graders. Generally, the size of the class doubles between freshman (prep) and sophomore (lower mid) years! So I think it's probably pretty comparable to the competition for a 9th grade spot.</p>

<p>I heard Hotchkiss has many foreign students since the school head came from a foreign country. Is that right?</p>
<p>haha no worries. I don't really know what other people think, but personally I think of Choate as a very good school, probably a little less academic and more artsy than Hotchkiss. I'm actually encouraging my little sister to go there :)</p>
<p>hotchkiss is on my list of top schools and i was wondering if its really hard to get into, and once you get in are the academics really hard???</p>
