Hotel Management

My D is a junior and wants to go into hotel management field. I know Cornell offers a good hotel management major but it's too expensive even if she gets in. She wouldn't be able to get much a financial aid due to my income and asset. Can you suggest other schools that offer a good hotel management major? Thanks.

University of Delaware.

D of friends is attending OOS (from CA) and parents are extremely pleased with her experience to date. She is has gotten jobs in the industry (hotel management last year at a CA Marriott and food service management this year at a country club in NJ) for the summers through contacts and recommendations of her university professors. Parents also like the medium (not huge) size of UD and also that their daughter has been treated like a person, not a number, and has gotten help with some housing and personal problems as though she were at a private rather than a state university.

Purdue University - West Lafayette has a great hotel management program
