Hi. We will be visiting the campus this summer. Can anyone recommend a hotel near the campus? We won’t have a car, so a hotel with a shuttle would be great, or close enough to walk. Thanks!
The Moonrise Hotel is a 15-minute walk. It’s on Delmar Blvd. which has restaurants and stores and music venues. http://moonrisehotel.com It has a retro space program theme. There is also a hotel on campus, at the Knight Center.
Highly recommend the Knight Center if they have a vacancy. Very nice, very well-run and it is in one of the university buildings right on campus.
I also highly recommend the Knight Center which is right on campus. I just stayed there last night.
I was happy with the Crowne Plaza Clayton. They had nice rooms, a great breakfast, free wifi and shuttle service to the campus and airport.
The Knight Center is on campus. Washu has a list of recommended hotels that all seem nice to me. We usually stay at Homewood suites. We like the spaciousness and usually there are 4 of us, hubby and two teens. Homewood is near a Metro stop.
