Hotel rec's from recent visitors

Hi all! Can you suggest a hotel in the Elon area that you have stayed at in recent years? Saw some old posts - curious about recent stays. Thank you.

D and I stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites/Burlington winter 2011. Hamptons became my “go to” hotels during our audition year – decent price, good quality place, free breakfast, reliable wifi, EXCELLENT comfy beds. I’m now a “silver” member of the loyalty club…hmmm…

We also stayed at the Super 8 in Burlington in the summer when on a campus visit. It was less expensive, did have a breakfast of sorts, but it was definitely a “budget” hotel.

Like mommafrog, we stayed at the Hampton Inn/Burlington. In my D’s eyes, the hotel was the only “constant” during the audition circuit. We stayed at a Hampton each time (except for Chicago unifieds). She never knew what she’d be facing on campus or during the audition, but her room looked the same no matter the city! The bonus that I didn’t expect, was accruing the points. By the time she finished college auditions, we’d earned enough points to spend a couple of nights in NYC. Btw, the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago is part of the Hampton Inn family, so you’ll get points for Chicago unifieds too.

Either Hampton Inn or Courtyard. Both fine

Thank you all for your input. @cawrd: Good tip about the points at Hampton Inn. You too mommafrog!

We stayed at the Acorn Inn- it’s right across the road from the University. It was very clean and comfortable and the staff there couldn’t have been nicer. Elon was one of our absolute favorite schools. Good luck with all your auditions this season. I promise you - you will survive!

kksmom5 we stayed at the Acorn Inn too…it was a great spot!

Hi ABCO! Hope all is well with you guys!!!

We stayed at the Courtyard and it has a shopping mall right behind it so that was convenient for grabbing a meal after the audition. Acorn Inn was booked at the time.

Thank you all! (See you soon broadwaybaby!)

Hampton Inn, and Acorn Inn are both nice. I’d also suggest the Country Inn and Suites. It’s next door to the Marriott Courtyard mentioned above. We’ve stayed there many times. Rooms have mini fridge and microwave. Also breakfast included.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. It had been recently remodeled and was a decent price and clean, very friendly staff (they even let us use a meeting room for my daughter to practice her audition songs in!) free hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, etc., free wifi and there was a frig and microwave in the room.
