Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management

Hi Im about to be a sophmore and I am studying (HRTM) Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management. However I am afraid that there won't be jobs out there where i can advance not only personally but yes of course financially. I think the problem is that I want to do it all.

I want to be everything, a doctor, dentist, chef, hotel manager, photographer, you name i want to do it. So far I do like the HRTM but I want to try everything but I don't want to be in and paying for college forever.

So if anyone has suggestions or knows anyone who did major in HRTM I would greatly appreciate it.....THANKS A BUNCH!!!!

What school are you in and what part of the hospitality industry are you interested in?

it is NMSU in New Mexico and I thinking about the resort or hospital area (human resources), but it is so hard to decide, i guess i just dont want to end up managing a Denny's or something.

Cornell has a great HRTM program! But I see you arent really looking for a school. I would say DOUBLE MAJOR!!! My Dad says if you major in bussiness...you can do everything and anything you want to! I mean if your a chef for your own resturaunt and a part time photographer you sure as hell gotta have a bussiness background!!!!
