HELLLAAAA. HAHAHAHHA. HECKA =] whooo.

lets all join the HYPHY movement!

LOL! that originated from the bay, where password and I are from, yo.

(it kinda sad how I first thought of “Harvard Yale Princeton harvard yale” when I saw HYPHY)

haha, i was up in sacramento for a week for boys state and there were so many delegates from norcal and they were just using “hecka” “hella” and “hyphy” ALL THE TIME… and so i just caught on, rofl. i came back down to socal and my friends were like ***?!

if i said that at my school in Mass or at home in Conn, i dont think id have any friends any more.

we’ll stick with “wicked”.

o_O

i thought east coast people said “mad” more. Like…“It’s mad hot”..where we NorCal kids say “It’s hella hot”.

“It’s wicked hot”…hmmm…

in socal, its more like “it’s damn hot”

btw dande, im catching up with you on # of posts…watch out.

hahahahah yousonofatree

well my school isnt far from boston and more so in massachusetts we say “wicked”. come to think of it, we dont say that in CT. we USED to really say “mad” cold or whatever, but not so much anymore.

ah i see.

hey, did you guys know that when someone from brooklyn says “its mad BRICK outside”, it means “It is very cold outside”? Interesting stuff I learned over the summer :D

yousonofatree - yeah i went this past summer (2007) and applied ED. but idk…i feel like its not as big of an advantage as i hope it was going to be. oh and i’m from california too. socal

It may not feel like it, but I heard from one of the adcoms that they really like applicants who come from their summer program because theyve been exposed to the hotel school and aspects of the hospitality industry. Even if it doesn’t help too much, I’d say it helps us hotelies more than people who are applying to CALS, CAS, and Eng who did those department summer programs.

btw, did you have Dahl or Steinacher?

Steinacher!

im so sad! i heard about the cornell hotel summer program after it ended =(

ummm lisa…do you go to flintridge?
