<p>Go to Cornell if you get in. This industry is all about networking, and since sooo many hotels pretty much dominate the industry, this networking tool will help you succeed. Of course, if you dont use it, then it doesnt really matter where you go.</p>

<p>Jimgotkp- you dont have to have any teacher recs or essays for purdue. It's rolling decision, not ED, so you can apply to both as soon as you want to.</p>

<p>ugh. i wont be able to be reviewed until mid-late october because my final SAT score is being sent then.. im working on all my essays and im adding my short common app. to my purdue app. i have all apps. completed except just need to add essays. thanks for the reminder yousonofatree about the teacher recs. totally forgot until now. if i get rejected from purdue and cornell. im going to a local CC.. they offered me a half scholarship of 10k... and they been calling me a lot.. then maybe i will transfer. but still i have UNLV, UD, and MSU to hope for.. really UD is my 3rd choice >.<</p>
<p>purdue is rolling, cornell isnt. I mean a few people find out between feb to march for REGULAR DECISION but most people find out in april like everyone else.</p>
<p>Yeah, the reason I applied so early for purdue was because on the website it said if you apply REALLy early you get your decision in 2-3 weeks, but if you wait until even a bit later, I"m guessing nov, mabye even oct, you wait quite a bit longer. But I'm sure it's not till April or anything. good luck jimgotkp!</p>

<p>If you really wanted to do hotell..you could apply. but if you just want to go to cornell, you have a better chance applying to another school. cause it seems like you have excellent stats, but no hotel experience. so it seems like you're just applying to the hotel school because it's the easiest stats wise.. just what I think! =]</p>
<p>idk, i think stats matter alot more than people think it does...I really think you'd have to have both. I mean if your SATs are in the 400-500 range...then you really shouldn't be applying to Cornell cause even the hotel school has about a 1300's average...If you show u are interested in hotels, then your chances would increase significantly.</p>
