Hotel School applicant stats!

yeah dude. I saw the 3.77 with like a 2200 or something person and I FREAKED OUT. i’m hoping it’s cause they screwed up their interview hella or something. Yeah…the last one..ummm. a LOT of ppl went to cornell, not just for hotel, but yeah. i’m thinking maybe it’s kinda a feeder school, not really? But their parents might work at cornell or something? Also, like I heard some people say that some high schools near certain colleges are considered kinda “feeder schools” Like Princeton High school or somethign liek that sends a lot of ppl to princeton too. And quite a few people went to cornell from ithaca hs. GAH. I’d be freaking out if I weren’t so tired these days. HAHAH.

ah stats.
I’m beyond worrying about my apps.
I just want the decision.
COME WHATTTTTTTTT MAY. As Nicole Kidman and Ewan Mcgregor sings it.

bump! Hotelie hopefuls UNITE!

im reaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllyyyyyy nervous! i hate having no work experience =( hopefully applying ED will show the admissions officers that i want in!

im so nervous! ahhh 3 weeks!

i love this thread. we’re so cool.

we are such dorks. but…idk, something about putting 4 years of my life on a piece of paper and just hoping for the best FREAKS ME OUT. so it is good therapy to talk about it…even if millions of other kids are doing the same thing and not freaking out…we all HAVE a first choice and HAVE a passion and that makes rejection all the more frightening. or..not frightening…just depressing.

oohh dande! I just noticed that youre past halfway to senior member status! just 492 more posts!! I think I might make it to 1000 by summertime or so…

hahaha well lets just say if cornell things don’t work out…ill never become a senior member because ill probably never use CC again. cornell is kind of the only reason i use it anyhow.

hah me too!

what would she be kidding about?

well. i think her stats are quite impressive! i do find it funny that she says she spends most of her time dancing yet her grades are AMAZING. i am jealous.

i spend about 3 hours at crew everyday and 6 hours studying on a bad night and i cant pull that off. so i am impressed.

ya, theres a girl at my school who danced a lot as well (I think 3-4 hours a day she told me). However, during 10th grade, she told me about how she had to pick either dance or academics (she was thinking about majoring in dance), but she chose academics.

idk!
im really worried about my lack of actual experience!
my interview’s friday…
