Hotel School or CALS

<p>I was wondering which school is more difficult to get into? I have an interest in studying hotel management and also studying business through CALS. At this point, since I don't know what school to choose, I want to apply to the school that has a higher acceptance rate...Which one should I apply for? </p>

<p>My stats are: </p>

<p>SAT I: 2010 (610CR 750M 650W)
SAT II: Chem 800 Phys 800 MathIIC 800</p>

<p>GPA: 3.7UW out of 4.0. (most rigorous courses at a competitive high school in New York)</p>

<p>CALS is harder to get into when you consider SAT scores and GPA I believe. Hotel School usually has lower SAT scores than most of Cornell, but the applicants often make up for it with a lot of related EC’s. A lot of schools at Cornell seem “fit” driven.</p>

<p>Overall, I’d say Hotel is the easier school to get into. In my opinion this isn’t a very good way to determine what school to apply to, but to each their own.</p>
