are you there?

A fellow CC-applicant got an email from a CAS administrator congratulating his acceptance.

-i gott arun now. be back in an hour or so. study time.

yeah joe, definitely. how should we exchange them?

send it privately

are you on here calpoly?

It was a CALS applicant. The vibe I’m getting from the Cornell transfer thread in the transfer forum is that CAS has not yet sent any decisions.

my mistake. sorry for the mix-up.

thats what i thought. there would be more people than that

you on here remy?

calpoly u on here?

Someone from IRL got their decision. That makes CALS and IRL

who is it ?

dupes. a fall transfer app for industrial.

i meant ILR. wow i suck with these acronyms

hey joe did you get a chance to read my essay?

yeah i read it calpoly. its not bad but there a few things that dont quite make sense as far as the verbage that you use and grammar. Also, the essay required you to write between 500-750 words. You went over that amount. It just seemed kind of drawn out to me.

thanks for the honesty, joe. how about the content of the essay? i guess i felt more compelled to write a longer essay this time around because i am reapplying, and wanted to make sure all of my points were addressed. I am sure I could have cut it down, but hopefully this was be sufficient.

Remy, would you also be interested in reading my essay? I’d like to read yours too. Send it to matracy@calpoly.edu and I’ll return mine.

Also joe, because I reapplied, I didn’t send my essays thru the common app… I had to mail them in paper form. And I just went and looked at the supplement instructions, and it said to write it in -approximately- 500-750 words… so hopefully I’m okay. Also, the font I used was larger, so the added length is partially from that.

I felt there was a lot to say. Hopefully it didn’t drag on too long.
