<p>What do you mean by major? Hotel school has concentrations not majors since it is in fact a "school" and not a college. Some students choose to pursue a concentrations while others don't.</p>
<p>well...yes...concentration. I just call it major by habit.</p>
<p>The different concentrations are :
Operations
Mgmt and Org. Behavior
Human REsources Mgmt.
Finance/ Accounting and Real Estate Development
Food and Beverage Management
Marketing, Tourism, and Srategy
Facilities Management
Planning and DEsign
MAnagerial Communication
Information Systems
Law</p>
<p>If you go to website they can tell you more about each concentration and what courses are required if you choose a concentration, but not all of the students choose a concentration and you can choose at any time, but students usually choose junior and senior year I believe.
You have 120 total elective credits that you need to graduate

Distributive Electives 18
Free Electives 21
Nobody goes in and puts on their app what concentration they want. If you decide to apply to the school and then eventually go to the school go for the hospitality and take the courses that are required to get a feel for each of the fields and if you are positive you want to follow one particular path then you can choose a conc</p>

<p>Well, I haven't interviewed yet but I will prepare for it yes. I know they say its good to be spontaneous...but you should always sit down with someone and go over practice questions and stuff</p>

<p>THE HOTEL SCHOOL IS A JOKE PPL. Why pay 45,000 dollars for it, when u can get a B.A. in Econ in the College of Arts/Sciences, which is ton more prestigious and will help you land a job.</p>
<p>Among the hospitality community....Cornell's hotel school is the MOST prestigious. I want to go directly into hotel management so why wouldn't it help me land a job??</p>
<p>Don't listen to bball just apply. If you truly have an interest in hospitality there is no better place in the world to apply. Best of luck</p>
