<p>1) Go to priceline.com
2) Go to name your own price
3) Put in pittsburgh, find the area where Carnegie Mellon is (near downtown).
4) Enter $55, that’s what I did
5) Profit when your price is accepted by a 3 or 4 star hotel</p>
<p>Try Priceline or Hotwire. I have paid $45 a night not including taxes for the Holiday Inn in Monroeville (best if you have a car but I believe there is a bus) using PL bidding. If you have never used either PL or HW there are websites such as betterbidding.com that give you suggestions on how to bid and which hotels you might get. They are very helpful. It takes time to do the research but I have been very lucky using both for many different locations in the US.</p>
