<p>I was wondering if anyone can recommend any hotels that are near the penn campus. I'm flying into philly a few days before move-in and I want find an okay ( doesn't have to be anything fancy) hotel. I looked into the campus sheraton and the inn, btu I was wondering if there are any other options nearby. thanks</p>
<p>Well I personally just booked the Doubletree hotel in downtown Pennsylvania, believe it should be pretty close to UPenn as it was mentioned on the letter with a list of hotels "close to campus" (1-5 miles).</p>
<p>Tip: How I ended up with it - priceline.com - $90 bid on 3 start hotels in downtown Philly (probably could go down to aroudn $85), good bit lower than the $209 list price</p>
