Does anyone else watch this? What did you think of tonight's show?

I missed it, but I'm going to find a torrent of it tomorrow and watch it.

I missed Season One's finale too and never saw it until the DVD came out. Thank you BitLord.

I saw it.

It was okay. I suppose the whole point was trying to figure out what was real and what wasn't real....

It was very strange I mean he was hallucinating then come to find out he was halluncintaing again.

Still, that imaginary patient...his symptoms were TERRIBLE...especially when he exploded...eek!

I could only imagine how some guys might be feeling....

That was sick. It exploded on that guy's face.

That was disgusting...

I actually had no problem with the whole thing of his testicle inflating and then blowing up.......then again I want to be a doctor so I guess it wouldn't bother me. lol :p

Yeah..but it exploded in Chase's face...I would have freaked out...badly :p

I LOVE HOUSE. I admit though that this show was werid. I wasn't aware that this was the season finale. Sad.

Imagine if you were the guy. That would definitely bother me if my testicle exploded, my eye popped out, and my tongue was so enlarged that I was constantly choking.

Hah, my post was deleted! All I said was that eyes, testicles, and tongues exploded.

It's true...

It was very interesting episode. However, some parts really ruined my dinner. I was eating a pizza with my roommate and when the eye popped out and the whole explosion of the testicle happened, my roommate threw up and I was shocked how well special effects are nowadays

I thought the episode was major mind**** after mind****.

That guy with the swollen tongue was so creepy. The special effects in that episode (eye popping out, needle in the tongue) were freakier than the typical House stuff. Chase was brave because if some guy's testicle exploded in my face, I'd prolly vomit. It was bizarre how House met the "wife" too and kept questioning their marriage because she was attractive -- it all seemed so real and then you find out it's merely him hallucinating...
At one point, I truly thought House had murdered the patient too when he slit him from his belly up. Gawd, that was grostesque.

I'm horribly upset because now I must wait for several months before I find out the fate of my beloved Dr. House.

Woe is me!

Anyone else get a Vanilla Sky vibe from this episode? Like the Ducklings at the end trying to say that they're real reminded me of the rooftop at the end of the movie.

I think the writers wanted you to know it wasn't real so then you could see everything as an insight to House's mind. From the start, before he shoots House, the guy says he was a patient, and when they're together, he says that his wife was the patient. Also, if his jugular had been severed, he probably would have died and had more than just stitches and stuff.

Anyway, when you look at it that way, the scenes are quite telling. The preachy scenes with the shooter is House's conscience. The scenes with Cameron show that there's still something there between them. I think this show is great at teasing. Cuddy's "I'm pretty sure you got that" and all the various scenes with Cameron over the season tell you that there's something, but you know nothing will ever come of it because that's just how this show works. I like it.

Ugh that 'exploding' this was nasty. I would have thrown up if i were chase

I thought it was a really good episode, well thought out.
