Housing and Billing?

^I think so, since Canaday should be a part of Oak yard.

^^Thanks. (I like your location, BTW)

Yup, all updated dorms are listed in the [url=<a href=“http://fdo.fas.harvard.edu/icb/icb.do?keyword=k3806&pageid=icb.page71465]Yard”>http://fdo.fas.harvard.edu/icb/icb.do?keyword=k3806&pageid=icb.page71465]Yard Welcome Letters/url.

@CrimsonFuture… i actually meant that it won’t let me log in. i recorded my password when i made it and i really really really thing i have it right but it won’t let me in :frowning: so if there’s something wrong it’s probably my fault haha but why do they make us make an account if we’re not going to use it?

Oh, this one yard vs. another looks fun! But according to my serious calculations:

Crimson Yard is equivalent to Gryffindor House

Ivy Yard is equivalent to Ravenclaw House

Elm Yard is equivalent to Slytherin House

Oak Yard is equivalent to Hufflepuff House

Please note: All calculations are completely arbitrary under the whimsical diction of the Sorting Hat. :)

So, I saw a letter from Harvard this afternoon and thought it was the housing info, but it turns that that it was a letter telling me that my school never sent in the final grade report :/.

Edit: A call to the admission office showed that my transcript was late by 20 days. Oh well, at least it’s in :).

@Seeker: are your calculations scientifically reliable? (Green is my favorite color btw.)

v thanks! I was about to do that but then decided to call the admission office first-- turned that that was a good idea :].

Yikes! I think you should send in a copy of the transcript/report card that you do have right now. Then call up your school (schools are usually open for summer programs) and explain this to them. Usually, there is always someone left in the counselor’s dept. during the summers and he or she might be able to help. I do not necessarily think it has to be your counselor who has to send it in–just an appropriate school official (but double-check to be sure).

Hope this helps.

Oh. Em. Gee.

I always loved Slytherin in Harry Potter, so this works excellently. :)

Glad to hear things worked out for you xrCalico23! Yes, calling admissions was a much better idea–I keep forgetting the time lapse between mail arrivals!

Green is my favorite color, too! But:

No–the Sorting Hat is of course a scientific oddity and are thus not scientifically reliable and thus by Magical Conventions the calculations are 9 and 3/4 % true.

I realize I may have inadvertently offended some Elmers here! My sincerest apologies. But do remember one or two rotten eggs in Slytherin does not speak truthfully of the entire house. It is my unique way of saying Elmers are very vibrant to be around!

Strangely enough, I feel that the last sentence is not sincere.

@CasaAtreides: You must read the last last sentence!

Seeker99, that was a totally unfair edit.

/heartbreak

Anyway, everyone knows serpents are the most awesome creatures out there. Lions are overused.

Sorry about the inequity of the edit. My computer works kind of slow and I intended the edit to be only a second apart.

^It’s okay, the people of Elm forgive you. I had to edit my last post on this thread four times (if my last post didn’t make much sense then that’s probably why:P).

Somehow I managed to miss this comment last time I logged in but— mifune:p!!! Haha, I miss him and his idiosyncratic debates.

I am certain that he will find a way to berate me for no particular reason whatsoever.

Oh, the anticipation! :D

P.S. I think this website is a lot emptier without his posts.

Ivy Yard-er hear, praying to be placed in Apley Court:) Question: is yard “rivalry” or dorm “rivalry” more common?;)

oh wow, I apparently dont know how to spell. I meant Ivy Yard-er HERE:p!

^I think most of the conflict here is entirely contrived.

And you lucky !@#$%. I wanted Apley. So bad.

I doubt it :).

Agreed  The science-religion thread sort of lost its intellectual vitality after he left (though it was revived now and then under a few posters’ occasional efforts).

xrCalico23, I have yet to post on this science-religion thread you speak of.

Perhaps you’re confusing me with another user.
