How are kids finding roommates- is there a survey in Housing, or through Facebook or another online group??
Our daughter joined the facebook group “University of Colorado CU Boulder Class of 2022” and within a week had selected a roommate. It is a strange process- as she shared stories of the experience, I was surprised. It sounded a little like online dating. BUT, it worked. We are in-state and she specifically wanted a roommate that was from out-of-state.
@cubhopeful I literally just saw that the FB group you mentioned was being launched tomorrow?? Maybe that one is the school’s official group…?
I saw that as well… unfortunate it wasn’t launched sooner. I wonder who the admin is on the page I mentioned? Worth looking in to.
