I am more of a nerdy side and love scenery so my choice will be Lakeshore neighborhood. I am considering between Bradley, Liz Waters, Kronshage, and Leopold. Any advices? (Plus, I don’t want to live in old dorm)
There are tons of posts about housing already. Search for “dorms” or “housing” and they should come up. Leopold nad Dejope are the two new ones in Lakeshore. Liz Waters dining hall is closed for fall 2015, so you would have to eat somewhere else (Carson’s is closest). Bradley is unique since it’s a learning community. All the older dorms have been renovated at some point, so the old ones aren’t always worse to live in.
Liz was built in 1940- therefore old. Kronshage nearly as old. Bradley built in the 1960’s but extensively remodeled in recent years. All dorms are well maintained. There is a link on the Res Halls website giving the history of each dorm.
Only you can decide which atmosphere suits you the most.
