Hey all,

I recently applied for housing at Cal. I'm confused by what it mean when it said that one of your options for preferences must be "no preference for location/size" in order for the housing guarentee to be legit. I listed this option as my first preference and then went on to list the following four as my "real" preferences. I'm assuming it doesn't matter much, however. Does anyone know if this is correct? Also... afterI applied/paid the fee for the application the "apply for housing" task was no listed as completed on my berkeley admissions page. did this happen for anyone else? i'm just making sure i actually submitted my application for housing haha. thanks!

Enjoy your triple.

If you read the instructions carefully you would know that "no preference" should be listed as your last option.

thanks for being rude and NOT answering my question. besides, it's all done by lottery anyways.

you shoulda put "any size - any location" as your LAST choice.

If you read my post carefully you would know that I answered your question, albeit in an indirect way.

I see a trend forming.

mmdowns, by putting it as your first choice you put yourself in the "if you don't have a triple available then go to my next choice" category. It was a simple mistake, but if you really want to avoid a triple you should contact Housing and let them know of the error on your part.

lol meh please tell us what dorms u get assigned to ^ - ^
yup "no preference" should be stated as ur last choice
