<p>Fall 2012 Housing Application Now Available </p>
<p>The 2012/2013 online housing application is now available for incoming freshmen and current residents. </p>
<p>Returning students will have received an e-mail with instructions, just click through to the link.</p>
<p>Note: Current residents will complete part 1 of the application process at this time. The contract and prepayment will not be available untlll February.</p>

<p>Students who will be recontracting for on campus housing need to pay attention to the dates. In the past, it’s been a 3 step process…so be careful not to miss a step.</p>
<p>For current students, does the order you signed up between October 1 and February 1 have any relevance in detemining housing selection priority? Or does it all come down to when you actually pay your fee after February 1?</p>
<p>That’s a good question.</p>
<p>Since some returning students were put on waitlists, it seems like the earlier you recontract the better.</p>
<p>Note: If you’re not sure if you’re going to live on or off campus, you can still recontract, and then either not pay on Feb 1st or let housing know that you’ll be living elsewhere. Recontracting in the fall does not obligate you to pay in Feb. But, if you know for sure that you’ll be living elsewhere, then don’t bother to recontract.</p>
