Housing application

@jazzshreddermom north is only a problem for you because you’re making it a problem. If there was a way for gaming the system, wouldn’t everyone have done it by now? Is your only objection of north campus from only cc posts?

Baits is actually a freshman experience dorm; it is comprised of all freshman and the theme of the dorm is to provide you the freshman experience.

If you care about it so much, just apply to honors and be done with it. if he’s not adding on any majors/minors with a bba, his freshman year courses don’t really count for any degree requirements.

It seems rather late to apply to Honors now, I don’t know when the application is due, but it’s basically common knowledge that if you’re invited to apply to Honors that you’ll be accepted, provided that your essay is literate. So that is still an option which I would recommend. I’m in Honors and there are very few extra requirements. I have never completed the requirements and I’m still technically in the program, even though I’m going into my senior year.

It says they’re only accepted at this point as space permits now, but yes, he was invited WAY back when he was accepted EA. Don’t know if that would help anymore.

Not wanting to be on north campus is something I’ve heard discussed for years in our area where many kids go to Michigan. This issue could be avoided if100 percent of fresman were in this undesirable area. ( that’s what Duke does…all the Freshman are relegated to east Campus where they have to take busses… No one complains because there is no choice). If I were in charge I’d do some long range planning that way…(lol).

One thing I have heard this year was that Uber was making the lives of some North campus kids better. According to several parents I know the kids in my area who attend used uber this year to get home from parties avoiding the dreaded bus.
