Has anyone received word of this? I haven't gotten anything in the mail or can't find it on the website.

It just says, "You will be filling out your housing application online. More information about that application will be available in May 2005." Is there somewhere that I am suppose to go to find this? Haha, help me!

Geez... I can hardly contain myself. I want to get things going. Most schools already have housing out of the way. And, in general, we have to wait to register for classes until September. And we have to wait until September to even start, too. Ahh! I want to get going!!! Anyone else feel my pain/excitement?

complaining about having a long summer? you guys are nuts. Im anxious to move in to northwestern and experience the social life.. but school is school. Im sure Ill be delighted for a few weeks to be learning from such bright people.. but stress is stress.

MAN, i am so effin happy to be going to NU next year. I could not be happier with my choice.

i called and they said that the whole application is online and that it will be available at the end of this week or next week. Nothing has to be mailed. It seems to me as if someone procrastinated. . .

No, the housing deposit form has been mailed.

Northwestern just e-mailed me:

"We have received your tuition deposit confirming your intent to enroll at Northwestern. Thank you for choosing Northwestern. If you requested University housing, you have been mailed a housing deposit form. Please return it with your deposit by the May 25 deadline.

We look forward to having you join us on campus in September.

Please accept our best wishes for the coming year.

That's interesting; I got an email saying they didn't get my deposit, and that I must not be enrolling, yet I got a snail mail reciept for my deposit today.

=\ does that mean ED people wont be getting any forms in the mail about housing? i know the app is done online but i thougt we were still supposed to get something since we had to fill out our address on this label thingy... Ack! i can't wait to do housing.. all my friends already got to do theirs .. mainly for UC schools, one for USC.. im the only one that hasnt done housing yet =P. =D i can't wait to go to NU, but like TheCity i like my longer summer break... while my two good friends are off at school in august.. i can still be at home sleeping in and not worrying about school for another 2 weeks =D i like that...

i got the same email saying it's been sent, but then when i checked my NU e-mail address, there was nothing there...where am i supposed to check to get it? anyone else have this problem?

I think they meant they had sent it via the post office, not email. It looks like the application will be online tomorrow at the housing page, unless that's only for upperclassmen

Ok, can someone help me??? I sent in the housing deposit form AT THE SAME TIME as I sent in my tuition deposit form. I completely missed the part where they said NOT to do that. Now both deposits are listed as 'received'

What do I do next? When can I fill out the application? HELP.

I don't know what to do either... I got accepted ED, so I sent my housing deposit in by March 15th, and I've been waiting patiently to hear ANYTHING about an application. I got the impression that they would send us something in the mail that would give us the website and possibly a password so we could fill out the application online...

Ok guys, this is STRAIGHT from the NU New Student website:

"Online housing applications are due Friday, June 10. Undergraduate Housing is currently putting together the information necessary for you to decide where you want to live on campus, and we anticipate having that online for you early next week. The online housing application will be posted late next week. Links to both the housing application instructions, and the application itself, will be posted on this web page, so check back next week for more information!

Please return your $200 room reservation deposit in the envelope provided, and don't forget to include the completed address label that was sent to you with your room reservation deposit form. We will use that address label to send you information on how to access the oline housing application form. Those links will also be posted on this web site in Mid to Late May."
